The Church first began on July 19, 1938. A store-front building was rented in the downtown area possibly the corner of Texas and Webster. They later leased two back rooms and the front auditorium of the Japanese School of Suisun Valley.
It was May 3, 1954 that the church incorporated and officially became part of the Assemblies Of God. The Church address at that time was 700 N. Texas Street – on the curve across from Armijo High School athletic field.
