The local Churches have joined together to feed and house the homeless through Mission SOLANO. First Assembly of God of Fairfield takes the third Tuesday of each month to minister the Word of God and then feeds the homeless.

This ministry is overseen by Steve Pettersen with people from the congregation helping to serve the meal to the homeless.

Mission SOLANO is changing lives in Solano County for a brighter tomorrow. The purpose of the Mission SOLANO homeless shelter is help those who are homeless and want to transition back into society, and to help them reach self sufficiency.
